Das Ergebnis in Münster
Sylvia Rietenberg of the Green Party won the direct mandate ahead of Stefan Nacke (CDU). The Greens thus narrowly defended their direct mandate from 2021. The party lost about 4% of the second vote, but finished only ahead of the CDU. The big winner in Münster, as in many other major cities, is the Left Party, which jumped from 5% to over 12%.
